In order to further enhance the construction of the teaching staff, and summarize the achievements of the ‘Qinglan Project’ mentoring program, on June 19th, the Primary School Department held a semester summary meeting for the ‘Qinglan Project’ in the teaching and research office.
First and foremost, at the beginning of the meeting, Vice Dean Xu Yanxia gave a comprehensive summary of the ‘Qinglan Project’ for this academic year, pointing out that since the implementation of the ‘Qinglan Project’ this semester, the three mentors had provided comprehensive guidance to the young teachers in areas such as teaching designs, classroom teaching, and class management, demonstrating the spirit of being mentors for others. Accordingly, three young teachers have made rapid progress in their classroom management skills and innovative teaching consciousness, truly achieving a virtuous cycle of ‘mentor-student mutual promotion’.
Subsequently, the three pairs of mentor-mentee teams of teachers respectively shared their insights and experiences gained from participating in the ‘Qinglan Project’ this semester, after which Director Zhao Xinglong presented honorary certificates to the pairs of experienced teachers and young teachers who had performed outstandingly in the ‘Qinglan Project’.
On the whole, Director Zhao Xinglong delivered a concluding speech in which he fully affirmed the remarkable achievements of the ‘Qinglan Project’, emphasizing that the construction of the teaching staff is the core task of school development. More noticeably, Director Zhao Xinlong encouraged teachers to learn from each other and make progress together, injecting new impetus into Anqing Foreign Language School's development.
